About the HAMBY'S in East TENNESSEE
Please sign in to see more.
This Hamby line that im from records that you will find ain't right 1930 census and 1880 census ..reason why
Ok my great grand father william Hamby and his wife were born after 1880 census ...and died befor 1930 census for this reason there 2 sons were with and listed with wrong Hamby family's and farners family's in the 1930 census ..1 was in SC age 6 Auther Hamby with Hamby's other was in TN.age 11 Emerson Luther Hamby with the farner's
Thease 2 brothers were 4 and 6 when both parient's died. No close/kin around in county where they were at the time in Monrol Co. TN. And they were taken in by others and raised.
So for this reason to fix mistakes that may have happend in people using 1880 or 1930 census records doing the Hamby history and relying on them alone..records are good only to a certin extent.
so this should fix some mistakes missing's or where they come from? questions. hopes this helps some..

Getting Around
There are several ways to browse the family tree. The Tree View graphically shows the relationship of selected person to their kin. The Family View shows the person you have selected in the center, with his/her photo on the left and notes on the right. Above are the father and mother and below are the children. The Ancestor Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph above and children below. On the right are the parents, grandparents and great-grandparents. The Descendant Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph and parents below. On the right are the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Do you know who your second cousins are? Try the Kinship Relationships Tool. Your site can generate various Reports for each name in your family tree. You can select a name from the list on the top-right menu bar.

In addition to the charts and reports you have Photo Albums, the Events list and the Relationships tool. Family photographs are organized in the Photo Index. Each Album's photographs are accompanied by a caption. To enlarge a photograph just click on it. Keep up with the family birthdays and anniversaries in the Events list. Birthdays and Anniversaries of living persons are listed by month. Want to know how you are related to anybody ? Check out the Relationships tool.
